Trump rolls on as Senate votes down partisan war powers act

The Senate voted down a war powers resolution Wednesday, giving President Trump unrestricted authority to continue military strikes against Iran after a US submarine sank an Iranian frigate in the first hostile sinking by an American sub since World War II.
