Thank you, President Trump and thank you to the farmers of this country. Never never ever give up there’s always light that cuts through the darkness of the tunnel.
The crazy thing is, many so-called “farmers markets” are simply people re-selling commercially raised and purchased products, often at outrageous prices.
Anyone who has raised a garden or animals knows how much work is involved. I've done that part myself. Those actually doing the work have earned a reasonable profit for their efforts.
I simply refuse to pay high prices for the same produce that some person, claiming to be “a farmer,” actually bought at the local produce wholesaler. It is very difficult to know where these products come from because of how they are presented at these market stalls.
These markets need to police the source of the products being sold by their vendors. Unfortunately, this is not common practice. Sell commercially obtained produce, fine, but don't try to pass it off as coming from the two raised beds on your porch or the couple of rows of corn in your garden patch.
The President's move is a strong signal that things need to change. And those "Big 4" corporate masters are going to fight this tooth and nail.

That is the problem in a nutshell. You have to cut out the middleman or two! They jack up the price, or you could call it greed!
