IF NYC elects a socialist mayor I wonder how many of the big businesses in all of those skyscrapers will be moving to greener pastures. Taking with them - their money, tax revenues and jobs. All the homes occupied by these people will be vacant as will the office buildings (skyscrapers). With them gone look for a foreign invasion and the takeover of NYC will be complete. It will look like London or Paris in a few years.

Almost all of the failed revolutions in history were from spoiled children of the wealthy. He might even be a true believer in the socialist utopia but NYC is not Cuba and he can’t force people to stay so the money will leave and people who think everything will be free will come in droves. Crime is already rampant and it’s going to get worse. Pretty soon he’ll run out of other people’s money to spend and chaos will ensue. It’s going to take decades for the place to recover if it can survive the stage 4 stupidity he’s promised!
Why not make a minimum wage of $1,000 dollars per hour and a maximum wage of $1,001 per hour? Just imagine how great that would be. Everyone would only need to work a few weeks per year to support themselves and their family, all people would be equal and the social programs would be able to provide services for the few people who could not get a job! The extra taxes from all of the people who make more than $1,001 per hour could be used to pay for free college, healthcare and food for the rest of the population. Sex changes for anyone in the entire world who wants to get that procedure. NYC is going to be great!
