Agree!

College is a place where kids are taught to HATE AMERICA 🇺🇸 & God!

The Western education system and most of all academia has been increasingly failing the West, and for that matter society at large. It needs to be reformed drastically indeed. We need graduates with skills and values. We don't need indoctrinated robots who parrot the useless creed of the woke death cult.

Here is our piece from a year ago:

"....hate....& God." Does that mean that you support the 7 Mountains of Christian Dominionism political theory? "7 Mountains" is part of the underlying framework behind the Heritage Foundation's "Mandate for Leadership," also known as Project 2025. Both are means for fundamentalist Christian Nationalists to gain control of the country, more than what Christianity has now in its role as the by far majority religion in the US.

Think carefully before you answer, especially upon which version of the Christian God that you will endorse. There are as many varieties as there are versions of the Bible.

All religions are just extension of control of the presiding empire of the time... Babylon-Rome-Vatican-Monarchies-Republics-Democracies-Corporation-technocracy... these are the same people running the world... so before bitching about any specific religion, perhaps you should realize that all religions are just means of control. ALWAYS... we don't need religion, what we need is each other... https://open.substack.com/pub/thecapitalistmag/p/the-american-education-system-exists?utm_campaign=comment-list-share-cta&utm_medium=web&comments=true&commentId=186473426

It’s for indoctrination and total debachery! The recent college graduates I’ve trained have no work ethic, no problem-solving skills (they just run to HR blaming everyone else), poor grammar and basic math skills, and are so immature!

Steve's avatar

How many is that (recent graduates)?

Susan A Thompson's avatar

4, but it seems across the board either other employers I know. Explains why most large industries and corporations are looking for older workers and even high school grads who had jobs!

Sorry, but still too much generalization. Most recent college grads that I know; mostly in the outdoor recreation and conservation field; are pretty bright. Some of them got into the field through; the now-gutted by Musk & DOGE; AmeriCorps. Or the statewide youth corps groups that are still functional.

I live in a year round resort state in the West. Which makes conservation and responsible recreation ultra important. All of the universities in my state; even the private four year colleges; offer these programs, including graduate degrees in the field.

How terrible of a life these people live. I have no idea what it must feel like to wake up every morning angry. To have their minds thinking about what they might be able to destroy that day, whether it me something physical or something living.

The only thing we can do is pray that God would help them in their battle with Satan.

First of all, I agree with the criticism in general, but again, this is a false dichotomy, left vs right is fake, like most of our news,...

I think we really need to grow up as a society. Polytricks has been nothing but divisive in general for all of it's existence, and the march towards their promised New Cage goal of a One World totalitarian government is rolling on, whoever is being selected for the office. I will keep this on point, all the educational systems at all levels since the beginning of the last century has been to create a Nation of Workers not of thinkers. And by this, and our entire patriarchal regime, it has been to create a nation of order followers, whatever level you may be, including managerial jobs.

Thus the problem with this Pyramid of control is that we think we need this to grow, to evolve, to mature, but we keep forgetting that we are part of the Earth, not separated from it, and thus we keep extracting, growing, wanting more shiny toys, allowing for Planned Obsolescence, and war economy, and just keep plowing through our planet like she's not alive, like she's not mourning the lost of her habitats, mountains, fauna, flora, and the hearts of all humans.

We will be going down the Skynet route if we continue this model that does not even recognize that we are more than these meat sacks. And no Jesus will not save us, only we can do that, and the only way we can do that is by opening our hearts and uniting, not remaining divided and fighting each other.

That WILL NEVER PROVIDE A LASTING SOULUTION,. NEVER...

Here, this will help with the educational system foundation and origins:

And the system is working. Especially in blue states and cities like California, Minnesota, Oregon, New York and the list goes on. China has more influence on these educational institutions than our own nation. They have killed Religion as evil and made violence a way of life.

Just don’t call liberals to these leftists, socialists and communists. There’s nothing liberal in their speeches and beliefs.

Agree but - how?

Trump made a start by surging them and removing grants. But we need 10x the threat to make a real dent.

We need to change this. NOW.

Here’s an idea: painful, yes, and somewhat unfair from a class perspective, but a start. Eliminate all federally-subsidized or funded student loans. If a student and his or her parents are staring down the barrel of six figure private loans, they will be damn sure to force junior to take real classes in real subjects, like math, science, architecture, engineering, etc. Student and parents will know from the start that bankruptcy is the alternative. The private lender will be similarly inclined. The states can sub for the federal government if they desire to take on that risk, but I assume that in the current fiscal climate, few will. Bet you see silly departments like gender studies, ethnic studies, etc. evaporate overnight.

The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles but to irrigate deserts.

Me again. The above was a quote from C S Lewis. Just a correction.
