If your definition of a slave is a person who is forced or coerced into working without pay then isnt Obama building his library with slave labor?

and the majority of what was paid is just more democrat fraud - their whole world is built around fraud

I wouldn't doubt it. He should go back to Kenya where he was born. Can't prove it because his records are sealed. He's no good for America.

Someone commented elsewhere that this thing looks similar to the WWII German anti-aircraft tower bunkers in Berlin and other major cities. Being a WWII history nut, I have to concur. Except the German flak towers had a better use.

Or put another way, Obama turns those who trust him into losers.

Please raise your hand if you are surprised. Me neither.

Obama and his team pledged more than $450 million. He put in ONE million. Chicago will have to raise taxes on the people in that area, the people who FOUGHT AGAINST having the monstrosity there in their neighborhood and their park destroyed.

Can you say "screwed"? The contractors, the neighbors whose park was taken, and the City of Chicago.

Lie down with dogs and get fleas. This is with crooks and get screwed. Some things in life are just really simple if you take the time to watch what you're doing.

I managed construction for a majority black school system for about 15 years. The board of education was black as was the superintendent. Because of DEI we were forced to work with several architects and contractors that simply were not competent.

Many are not familiar with how architects are selected. The basically give their qualifications and submit their previous work with other documents. Then the owner selects one. In one case a majority white architect that had done many school and other large projects. One was a building project for a world’s fair. They were selected to do the work and were almost finished with the design when a board member decided they wanted a local black architect. The board fired the architect having paid them 1.5 million. Then started over with the minority architect. Paid another 1.5 million . What we had with the first architect looked like a school the system would have been proud of. What we ended up with was an almost unusable monstrosity.

DEI has not only cost that system millions but it also gave them inferior inefficient buildings. But tax payers foot the bill. Right?

Gubernaculum's avatar

Everything the uses DEI turns to shit bc the people are stupid retarded unqualified and usually corrupt and have a sense of entitlement! They want the money but don’t want to do the work, and when forced to do the work. They do a shitty job!!

Hire qualified professionals with good degrees and background checks. Stop using the color of someone’s skin to try and determine if they are a good person!

Treat everyone as an individual rather by race!

I don't feel particularly sorry from any of these contractors who got stiffed by Obama. Are they that stupid that they don't realize that when you deal with a crook, you're going to get royally screwed?

Mad Dog's avatar

When the people in charge have no expertise in anything except organizing riots, you should know they're not going to be able to build anything.

Wow. You’re really stretching to find something even remotely close to the corruption America is actually facing right now. You clearly don’t understand DEI and REAL donations to a foundation unlike all the bullshit about donations paying for trumps vanity princess ballroom. You are delusional!

Gubernaculum's avatar

This how uneducated and quick you are to listen and believe all the lies of the far left lunatic news like MSNOW! President Trump offered obama a $100 million dollars to help pay for a ballroom, when obama was president, but you will never hear that from fake news.

The White House Ballroom: A Century-Long Need Finally Being Built

For over a century, the White House has struggled with a fundamental limitation: it simply lacks adequate space to host large-scale formal events befitting the world’s most powerful nation. The White House’s East Room — its largest indoor venue — holds only 200 people, forcing administrations to rely on outdoor tents for major state dinners and gatherings. This is the core, practical reason the ballroom debate has never gone away.

Presidents Obama and Biden both resorted to elaborate outdoor tents for state dinners, and a former White House chef described these events as embarrassing, noting that guests were “elbow to elbow” and that each tented event cost around $1 million. That’s a recurring, wasteful expense with no permanent solution — until now.

The desire for a proper ballroom is not new. In the 1930s, the Roosevelt administration proposed a state ballroom and underground facilities, but Congress balked at the price tag. The problem has simply been punted down the road for decades. Roosevelt’s 1902 renovations expanded the State Dining Room — which could originally seat only 40 guests — to a capacity of 100, reflecting the same underlying pressure presidents have always faced to accommodate growing diplomatic demands.

Trump has championed the project most aggressively. As far back as 2016, Trump offered $100 million during Obama’s presidency to fund a ballroom, an offer Obama declined. When he finally launched the project in July 2025, plans called for a 90,000-square-foot East Wing modernization with a ballroom capable of seating 650 to 999 guests — more than triple the East Room’s capacity.

Beyond hospitality, proponents argue the ballroom would give the Secret Service a fully hardened, secure indoor venue. Trump didn’t care if the ballroom was built under obama, he just knew we needed a ballroom! You only hate bc it was Trumps idea! Your TDS is off the charts

You referenced MS Now so I asked about falsehoods from MS NOW, not NBC or MSNBC. They are 2 separate companies with no affiliation so try again. Fox News on the other hand, is very well known for frequently airing misinformation, a reality highlighted by multiple media watchdog groups, academic studies, and defamation lawsuits. The network has a documented history of spreading falsehoods and conspiracy theories regarding elections, public health, and political scandals, and science.

Actually, the formal complaint filed by 101 bipartisan former judges and watchdog groups carries significant professional and potential legal weight for any attorney. While it does not initiate a criminal prosecution, it serves as the official mechanism to investigate a lawyer's license to practice law and their adherence to professional standards. This is highly unprecedented and shows the scope of ethic violations being observed.

Just claiming that future presidents could benefit from the Trumps absolute immunity does not make it right. No previous presidents demanded this because it is unjust and opens the door for more un-prosecutable corrupt conduct. Consequently, all his financial schemes aim to take money from you and transfer it to him.

Jame's avatar

It is not “normal” business to have repeated bankruptcies, fraud, conflicts of interest, housing discrimination, misuse of charitable contributions, defamation, unfair labor practices, and not paying contractors.

If the claims that were exposed in the Epstein files are inaccurate about Trump sexually and physically assaulting a child then why not release them in accordance to the transparency act? Epstein was his BFF until Trump screwed him over in a real estate deal.

Oh my goodness. Really? It’s going to cost the taxpayers even though he said so many times it wouldn’t cost the taxpayers a dime. A leaked invoice shows taxpayers will be paying $293M. There’s no gotcha. Just facts.

Gubernaculum's avatar

Ah yes, the “facts” arrived carrying a pitchfork and a thesaurus full of insults. Let’s actually check the receipts this time.

The ballroom: You called it a “$600 million taxpayer party room” right after admitting he said taxpayers wouldn’t pay a dime. That’s not a gotcha, that’s you contradicting yourself in the same paragraph. It’s privately funded. If you have a leaked invoice showing otherwise, mail it to the GAO — I’m sure they’d love a scoop you apparently have and no journalist on earth has published.

The “child rapist” line: Bold strategy tossing out an unproven felony accusation like confetti at a parade. No charge, no conviction, no indictment — just vibes and hatred cosplaying as journalism. If you actually had evidence, congratulations, you’d be richer than Pulitzer winners. You don’t, so it’s just slander with a wink emoji.

Bankruptcies: Four corporate Chapter 11 filings tied to Atlantic City casinos in the 90s — a completely normal, legal restructuring tool used by airlines, hotel chains, and yes, plenty of companies whose names you don’t scream in all caps. Using bankruptcy law isn’t a personality flaw, it’s called “reading the fine print.”

Presidential immunity: That 2024 Supreme Court ruling in Trump v. United States applies to any president exercising official acts — not a “Trump-specific loophole.” So next Democrat president gets the same shield. Hope that “new rules to fix this” energy holds up when it’s someone you like sitting in the chair.

101 former judges signing a letter: A letter is not a subpoena. It’s not a verdict. It’s a strongly worded op-ed with more signatures. Impressive mailing list, zero legal weight.

The MSNBC “name one falsehood” dare: Since you asked — the doctored Zimmerman 911 call, the false Covington Catholic framing that cost them a defamation settlement, and the years-long botched “very fine people” Charlottesville quote that had to be walked back repeatedly. That’s three, free of charge. I’ll wait for your Fox list, but let’s skip the part where you pretend only one network has ever been wrong.

You didn’t disprove a single claim — you performed outrage and called it evidence, waved your arms, and mistook volume for a valid argument. Emotion isn’t a citation, and all-caps fury isn’t a footnote. Have you actually cracked open a history book, or honestly any book at all, sometime in the last decade — or does your entire education come pre-packaged from cable chyrons, viral Twitter screenshots, and group chats that reward whoever types the angriest fastest? Before you come at someone with more education, more discipline, and a far firmer grip on basic facts than you’ve shown here, maybe try investing five whole minutes into actual research instead of freestyling a caps-lock rant and mistaking it for journalism. Facts have footnotes. Feelings don’t. So bring a source next time, not a séance — and maybe leave the pitchfork at home while you’re at it.

Hahaha silly MAGAtt…The Obama administration did not take the offer seriously when donald said he’d pay for a ballroom but his name would have to be on it 🥴. Obama officials noted that there were much more important things to work on and having a shiny gold trump sign on any part of the White House would be silly and inappropriate. Trump is notorious for backing out of his commitments, stiffing his contractors and filing bankruptcy over and over and over again so trusting any project he gets thirsty for at the moment would be foolish. On top of that he’s a child rapist so that was the right move.

Perhaps he could try focusing on things that are much more important and pressing? Maybe his war, the economy, healthcare, etc…Not all these vanity projects including his gaudy $600 million dollar party room that he said the taxpayers “would not pay a dime for”. What an absolute dipshit fraud.

Pretending people only oppose him because of “trump Derangement Syndrome” ignores the actual concerns people have about cost, priorities, and preserving a historic building. So you can drop the trumpisms. Disagreement isn’t evidence of a bias. It is however, evidence that you are delusional and need to come up for air out of donald’s lap.

Luckily he’ll be going to meet his maker in Hell soon and everyone will get back to work on scraping his disgusting name off everything he’s had his sticky little fingers on. All the corruption will be exposed and tried in courts for years to come. New rules will be put in place to protect America from future pigs doing the same blatant grifting, corruption and child sex trafficking. This bunch of incompetent clowns donald has chosen (because they are weak “yes men”) have used their time in the White House to find all the loopholes so he can disobey the law by not paying his taxes, stealing from the American People to line his pockets, and shitting on The Constitution. His corrupt Justices helped by approving he had absolute presidential immunity so that will change as well.

He should be in prison and his name and legacy will ALWAYS be associated with filth and Idiocracy worldwide. It’s weird that you want to support him after everything we’ve learned so far. How do your friends and family feel about your wacky ideals? I feel bad for them and suggest you start fact checking your script so you stop being an embarrassing burden for them.

101 former federal and state bipartisan judges and counting have signed an ethics complaint against acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. This is historic and shows how urgent action is required and how obvious this regime disobeys our laws. Trumpstein and co are going down! 👏🏻🇺🇸

Also, I’m curious to know what exactly has MSNOW reported that was not true? Can you name anything? Please do enlighten me and I’ll get a list of falsehoods from Faux News for you too.
