For New York City, this is the 1970s redux. It took the hurculean efforts of two consecutive excellent mayors to bring the city out of it. But first Di Blasio and now Mamdani are plunging the city back into decay and despair. It's sad to have to watch this all over again, and to know that the city will need another two decades of good government to recover from it.

This mayor Mamdani needs to be voted out. He doesn't have the brains to run a city

Vote him OUT now.

Problem is, right now these “democratic socialists” are so much all the rage in NYC that Mamdani’s going to be reelected no matter how badly he does.

We don't have 20 years. Read Matthew chapter 24 in the New Testament.

When you win a championship and think that gives you the right to destroy public and private property, shoot people and generally show your ass. You have no right to wonder why NOBODY cares what happens to YOU! It is all self inflicted. When you look at corporations and the wealthy that are leaving NYC they will not have to money to clean these types of messes up much longer. This city is spiraling down the bowl.

Very sad and disgusting what’s happening in NY. “Leaders are losers” who hate law enforcement and allow criminals to disrupt their communities. Mandami is a pathetic Marxist who lies and has zero experience who will run NY into the ground. I will not visit NY ever again. Why should I?

Yes I would get our of that hell hole.

Not all of them. Many just want their city to go back the way it was before the Socialist Democrats took over with the promise of free stuff.

If you are confused about how that could happen and can’t possibly understand the mentality behind such behavior, consider how they vote. New Yorkers are definitely not the brightest bulbs in the box.

If Trump was so smart, why didn't he sell his NY investments in 2020 and 1031 reinvest in Texas and Florida, and get in front of the boom.

So at what point are the longtime residents of New York City gonna realize that they have made raucous and stupid decisions through the years keeping Democrats in power I believe it’s too far gone to save and who gives a shit…!!

Let us guess what color the majority were! Animals

What would that be? Most of the people who went there for the game, visited. So, destroying something that they do not live in is easy. I think it’s more the Commie mind that’s taking our youth.

It was all downhill after I left.

We are living MATTHEW CHAPTER 24 in the New Testament Bible.

I love your publication but this article is nonsense. New York City is one of the few American cities that has never rioted after a local team’s championship win. The worst that can be attributed to a post championship celebration is pockets of disturbances. The failure of NY politicians and everything in your article has nothing to do with the Knick championship celebration.

What about all the business owners leaving the city and even the state ? The current leadership of NYC is literally brick by brick deconstructing the city in full view of the country and even the world. Goodbye America...you once knew the God Who made you the greatest country in history, but you have chosen to follow empty promises and a man who has no knowledge of the God you once loved. Soon there will be sorrows upon sorrows. Matthew chapter 24 in the Bible is on the news.
