I spoke with a friend who is a retired corporate jet pilot. He said that NetJets had an excellent safety record. He also has a theory about why the jet crashed and it does involve fuel issues. I'm not going to repeat it here, but he has been really accurate about the causes of aircraft crashes very early in the incident. He was also an IP, ground school instructor, and certified mechanic for many corporate jet brands. He was also an Air Force crew chief for F-4 Phantoms and worked as a mech at the Air Forces Weapons School back in the late 60s. Plus the above photo is a crappy AI reproduction of the crash scene.
