Funny things about that inflation. I distinctly recall in March, 2024, Trump's economics advisor from his first term, Larry Kudlow, grudgingly and publicly admitting that the Biden economy was "pretty good."
I also recall the conservative leaning British news magazine; The Economist; saying in October, 2024 that the American economy was the best in the developed world thanks in part to how Biden's team had gotten inflation way down and gotten unemployment to near record lows.
Wonder where Mr. Bessent is now getting his information?
