After winning his U.S. Senate primary election in Michigan, DSA candidate Abdul El-Sayed took the stage and declared “Inshallah.” The Arabic phrase is often used in Muslim communities to declare allegiance to Allah, symbolizing their faith in his plan. In this case, El-Sayed was expressing his faith that his primary victory would allow him to defeat Trump-backed candidate Mike Rogers this November. If Sayed is successful, he will bring a slew of socialist policies, Muslim sympathies, and lies with him into the Senate.

The day of Sayed’s victory, counterterrorism expert and Senior Analyst for the Department of Homeland Security Kyle Shideler gave testimony regarding the Muslim Brotherhood, which is now designated as a terrorist group. During questioning, Shideler brought up that Sayed’s father-in-law has connections to Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups such as in the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). According to Shideler, he is a member of the Founder’s Committee, which is “only for those most devoted to ISNA and provides significant funding.” Sayed also has ties to Emgage, a candidate recruitment organization that seeks to elect Muslims into public office. Emgage was co-founded by Khurrum Wahid, who was on a terror watch list in 2011 and built a legal practice by defending terrorists.

Shideler’s concern comes as no surprise, as Sayed has repeatedly defended terrorism. While hosting an event with Hasan Piker, Sayed defended the terrorist attack at the Temple Israel Preschool in March 2026. He excused the actions of the Hezbollah-linked jihadist, stating that “I think it’s just critical for us to understand that hurt people hurt people.” During his campaign, he warned his staff not to comment on the death of radical Iranian leader Ali Khamenei because “a lot of people in Dearborn are sad.”

In 2011, Sayed wrote an Op-Ed in which he encouraged the U.S. to support Muslim Brotherhood protestors. That same year, he penned a separate piece which argued that concerns about the Muslim Brotherhood were merely the result of racism. He alleged that many Americans “inherit a… tradition of ignorance” due to “years of marinating in Fox News.” Sayed has also advocated for Sharia Law, criticizing Oklahoma for previously considering a ballot measure that would’ve banned Islamic Law. Sayed likened the measure to the Trail of Tears and called it part of Oklahoma’s “history of racism.”

Sayed has a long history of exaggeration, including when it comes to his own profession. While it is true that he earned an MD from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, he never completed a residency or obtained a medical license. His only experience came from a month-long clinical rotation, during which he described himself as “cosplaying as a doctor.” Sayed has referred to himself as a physician and doctor multiple times despite Michigan law outlining that it is illegal to “induce the belief” that a person is “licensed or registered in the profession.” Sayed even went so far as to publish a book titled “A Doctor’s Journey into the Heart of Our Political Epidemic.” The book frames him as a practicing doctor, with reviews labelling him as a “physician” who could “heal the sick.”

Sayed has used his MD as an excuse to push his progressive agenda. He has advocated for “Medicare For All” programs and called for the abolishment of all medical debt. Democratic Representative Ro Khanna doubled down, saying that Sayed would “stick to Medicare for all… That was the central issue that’s winning this race for him.” During 2020, he called to defund the police, and has previously said that “Rather than investing in a force of people who respond with guns and put people in jails what if we… [invest] less in police.” However, one of the greatest signs of where Sayed’s allegiance lies comes from his relationship with DSA Rep. AOC. During a campaign rally she valiantly declared, “We have to elect Abdul!” Which is perhaps the worst endorsement of all.

On August 4^th, the “Show Me State” overwhelmingly rejected a referendum to phase-out state income tax, a devastating 84-17 split which tells me that casual socialism and confiscatory practices masquerading as duty to “the poor” have gripped even the reddest of states.

This does not bode well for the future of America.

One of the leading voices urging voters to oppose this measure was The Catholic Hierarchy, and this disappoints me gravely. I love my Catholic faith, but I wish my Catholic Church were not so… stupid. It often is. I thought Pope Marxis had died… but I guess his spirit of Liberation Theology which rejects the free market and celebrates the state will live on for quite some time.

But, let me tackle one thing at a time. First let me render to Ceasar, then to Church.

As for Caesar, let us now rename Missouri the “Take Mine” state, and that is what income tax does. We should categorically reject the notion that the state may confiscate from our productivity, let alone third parties be entitled to redistribution from the same. Our founders saw this so clearly, knew that taxing income was so pernicious as well as endless, that they forbade income tax in the U.S. Constitution at the federal level.

Lucky for us, progressives 113 years ago won the votes for the 16^th Amendment, modifying the sacred text so that Washington could take from your paycheck. Fret not, for the congressman who authored the nation’s first income tax bill, democrat Cordell Hull, assured us the income tax would ONLY target the “very rich” and it would ONLY be around 1%.

Surprise, surprise, a democrat lied.

Not only did the federal income tax (along with its bastard sibling the 17^th Amendment) implode the concept of Federalism, weaken the states, and spawn the demon called “the federal government” but it altered a once healthy understanding of property rights. Now, the government skims from your earnings. Just 1%. Ok, 7%. 15%. Let’s just make it a cool 26% unless you’re “rich” and then we go to 30% or 37%.

BUT NO MORE!

Unless you are Elon Musk. Then, a new proposed tax, a “billionaire’s tax” and to justify the endless appetite of government income tax whores, they bring out to the cameras a fat slob who somehow, for some ungodly reason, got pregnant nine times but claims to be “disabled” and wants a new cell phone. For you see, the poor are because of the rich, and not because of personal choices, and only government taking your wealth fix it.

This was the undercurrent of President Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” program. Government programs and government workers, well-funded through by taxing “the rich” will eliminate poverty in America. Since then, we have spent an estimated $22 trillion on programs to help “the poor” and all we have to show for it is the same level of poverty along with endless “nonprofits” taking tax dollars to help with and paying their executives handsomely.

Charities focused on “the poor” are often run by bored housewives with lavish salaries all paid by our confiscated funds. Example: Governor Gavin Newsom’s own wife, Jennifer Siebel, the “First Partner” (lame) of California makes hundreds of thousands of dollars in non-profits that care about “the poor” and “the children”. Californians must be thrilled knowing their tax dollars go to such “causes”.

This was the “what about the poor” fear-mongering which crushed Missouri’s referendum. The local Bishops said “those with greater resources bear a proportionately greater share of the public burden” while the head of Missouri Catholic Charities told voters to “remember the poor first and foremost”. What utter nonsense. This idea that the poor in America are some perpetual victims of unjust structures and not their own decision making is offensive.

Show me a mother at a food pantry who doesn’t have a $800 tattoo of her children on her breasts. The buses of “poor” arriving at Atlantic City Casinos are full of able-bodied people gambling with EBT cards. I’ve seen “poor” people buy Kerry Gold Butter at $6.99 per lb. with food stamps while I buy Giant’s own brand on sale. And I have a job.

One Christmas some 20 years ago, friends asked me to volunteer at The Mission on 14^th Street NW in Washington, DC to distribute toys for the needy, and full of Christmas Cheer I agreed. About 30 minutes into my shift, I helped a woman bring free toys to her car: a double-parked Lexus SUV.

I left. “The Poor”. Give me a break.

That is my experience of “the poor” in America. Yes, there are poor people who are truly needy and royally f’d, and they need assistance, and I would be in so much a better position to help them if I had more money. I don’t because government has taken half, and once again we shall quote our Lord “The poor you will always have with you”. It’s like He knew something we didn’t.

So long as we have this belief that person A has, but person B does not have, so person C can take and give, we have a major flaw in our thinking. Not just our economic thinking, but sociological, cultural, and even moral. It is quite literally “robbing Peter to pay Paul” and yet the Church has succumbed to it. Tragic.

Of course, I am not an anarchist. I understand we need some government, and that very limited government needs funding. So, when Missouri proponents of the income tax repeal stipulated that the revenue shortfall would come from increase sales tax, I celebrated it.

Why? Because I am cheap.

I don’t have a new phone. In fact, I broke it recently and need a new screen, but it still works fine. My TVs are old but work fine. My truck is a 2018, my better half’s jeep is a 2017. Most of my clothes are from Costco. I have three pairs of nice shoes that are almost 15 years old, which I polish myself and get soled when needed by a local cobbler (yes, they are still around). I don’t go to movies. I prefer to cook at home, and groceries are exempt from sales tax.

So, you tell me, which system should I prefer? The one stipulated on the aforementioned poor who, in all likelihood, get weekly manicures and a daily 4000 calorie, venti, white chocolate mocha hazelnut caramel frappa-diabetes with extra whipped cream paying MORE taxes on her purchases, or me, parsimonious, abstemious, me, keeping all of my own earnings?

It isn’t really a hard choice, is it? It does not make me greedy, for no one is greedier than the government official, or, sadly, the Missouri Catholic Bishop, who thinks he is entitled to my labor. Why am I greedy and selfish wanting to keep what I earned?

The Church has thoroughly disappointed me yet again. Our faith leaders should ENCOURAGE work and DISCOURAGE spending. They should welcome more earning and frown upon more consumerism. Of course, you are going to need a couch or a fridge or a car, and the higher taxes are going to stink. Of course. But maybe, just maybe, your current items aren’t all that bad, and keeping up with the Joneses should have a cost.

Missourians have disappointed me, too. Not just the intellectual failure recognizing many states do not have an income and have lower poverty rates, but the moral failure thinking the government has a right to earnings and will somehow solve poverty with it. Socialism, disguised as Christian Charity, creeping into government, our culture, our churches, and our tax code. I will abide by it, but I will not succumb to it or keep silent on it.

The Chinese government has been meddling in American elections, diluting the vote of U.S. citizens through years-long schemes. Although rumors of Chinese interference have been swirling since 2020, Trump now has extensive receipts proving how disastrous China’s operations have been, targeting American citizens and high ranking government officials.

On Thursday evening, the Trump administration unclassified a series of documents exposing wide-scale U.S. voter fraud and extensive election inference operations. The shocking truth about these operations gets worse though. Several American intelligence agents knew about the potential fraud and willingly downplayed it. In one bombshell text message, former FBI official Nikki Floris stated “I’m basically running a shadow government across the FBI at this point.”

In late August of 2020, the Chinese government produced enormous quantities of false U.S. divers licenses, distributing them throughout America for the intended use of voting for Joe Biden. China used authentic voter registration data to create driver’s licenses which matched voter lists, making them incredibly difficult to detect. These licenses were used to cast thousands of mail-in votes.

Prior to the 2020 election, China had “extensive” plans to use cyber operations to “sway public opinion against the Trump Administration and international opinion against the U.S. government.” Among their key target issues were America’s economic issues as well as their response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Using social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter, the Chinese government attempted to encourage political outrage. Mainstream media and public influencers, both “overt and hidden” took part in the operation. As early as 2019 the Chinese government had been identifying U.S. journalists who were willing to criticize Trump and pay them to write more negative articles.

The Chinese were largely responsible for the chaos Americans witnessed during the summer of 2020. They explicitly encouraged “violent demonstrations and looting”, “questioning [President Donald Trump’s] ability to govern”, and “undermining the legitimacy and public support of the President.”

One document produced by the CIA in July of 2020 stated that China was probing the Presidential campaign to gather intelligence on the U.S.-Chinese policy positions. It states that since as early as 2018, Chinese cyber actors were targeting the e-mail accounts of the Executive Office of the President, as well as in Congress and the federal judiciary. They claimed that China was not interfering to sway the outcome of the election, but admitted that they “could enable such operations, if Beijing made a decision to do so.”

Chinese cyber operators mapped out a large network of targeted emails, including the emails of campaign staffers, to gather intelligence for the Chinese military. This reveals that Chinese cyber actors had been collecting data on U.S. elections, such as voter data, polling data companies, nonprofit organizations, fundraisers, and advisory organizations for political campaigns.

A total of 200 million voter records were compromised by the People’s Republic of China. Further, China acquired voter data from at least 18 states from the midterm elections. Voter registration data includes sensitive personal information such as names, birthdays, home addresses, and political affiliation. China was particularly focused on uncovering U.S. citizens’ occupation and educational background. Additional data they uncovered included previous voter history and polling records, election donation expenses, and demographic information. In Kansas, some of the acquired voter data included telephone numbers and military affiliations. The voter data China acquired from North Carolina included information on as many as 8 million voters.

In addition to Chinese collusion, the Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that over 250,000 illegal aliens are registered to vote in just the four states in which their public voter data has been reviewed. California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nevada state election officials have been notified that their state’s failures in upholding safe elections poses a serious threat to national security. In comparison, several states have embraced DHS’s proactive investigations into deceased and illegal aliens who are currently registered to vote, such as Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama. In each of these states, thousands of illegal aliens and tens of thousands of deceased individuals were actively listed on voter rolls. Thanks to the open border policies of the Biden administration, the voting power of U.S. citizens has been significantly diminished.

Meta ordered to pay $567 million for New Mexico youth harms

A New Mexico judge on Thursday ordered Meta to pay $567 million into an abatement fund after finding its platforms contributed to the state’s youth mental health crisis, bringing total liability near $942 million with prior penalties.

Abatement fund details: Of the $567 million, $420 million funds treatment for those harmed by the platforms while the rest supports awareness, prevention, screening, assessment, referrals and evaluation of the response.
Age verification upgrades: Meta must improve age assurance models and tools with AI, attempt to develop a dedicated under-13 prediction model within two years, and partner with schools for underage reporting portals.
Teen usage safeguards: The order imposes monthly limits on teen Facebook and Instagram use, notification restrictions, tighter adult contact controls, AI chatbot safeguards and enhanced child sexual abuse report reviews over five years.
Responses from parties: Meta plans to appeal while stating confidence in its teen protections; Attorney General Raúl Torrez called the ruling a blueprint that holds the company accountable for harms to children.

SpaceX plans massive 20-gigawatt buildout for AI energy needs

Elon Musk said SpaceX aims for as much as 20 gigawatts of power, cooling and electrical infrastructure by the end of next year for AI hyperscaler ambitions, a clear positive for suppliers.

Clear positive signal given: James West of Melius Research said SpaceX commentary on power got attention and marks a clear positive for equipment suppliers supporting the AI boom.
Massive capacity plans set: Musk expects 2 gigawatts of compute available now with plans for 10 gigawatts online by end of next year while targeting 20 gigawatts of power equipment.
Even conservative outlook noted: Musk noted that even if forecasts fall short the company should still reach around 15 gigawatts of capacity at the power plant level by end of 2027.

Share sale structure set: The Hangzhou-based company is selling 40.45 million new shares or 10% of its enlarged share capital on Shanghai’s STAR Market seeking to raise 6.1 billion yuan.
Strategic investor role confirmed: Chinese AI company DeepSeek is among the strategic investors in Unitree’s IPO according to the Thursday filing submitted to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Revenue growth details shared: Overall revenue more than quadrupled to 1.7 billion yuan in 2025 with humanoid robots generating 867.8 million yuan in sales and overtaking four-legged robots.
U.S. sales exposure noted: U.S. sales accounted for 13.3% of Unitree’s revenue last year and tariffs limits or lost approvals could hurt overseas growth and disrupt supplies.

DeepSeek drops $20.8M into Unitree’s $9B Shanghai IPO

Chinese AI startup DeepSeek invested 140.8 million yuan or $20.8 million in robot maker Unitree and agreed to jointly develop AI models for humanoid machines, a stock-exchange filing showed.

Share allocation size set: DeepSeek received 933399 Unitree shares representing 2.31% of the shares allocated through the Shanghai initial public offering strategic placement.
Partnership collaboration plan: The companies both based in Hangzhou said they would combine DeepSeek’s expertise in AI models with Unitree’s work in mechanical engineering motion control and embodied intelligence.
Mutual preference terms listed: Unitree would give preference to DeepSeek when procuring model-training services and DeepSeek would similarly favor Unitree when purchasing robots or exploring applications.
Targeted development goal set: The partnership targets a key bottleneck for humanoid developers of building a robot brain capable of understanding surroundings and turning instructions into physical actions.

Whitmer-backed $292M program accused of funding wrong people

Michigan’s $291.9 million Rx Kids program for pregnant women and new mothers, backed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, is listed as guaranteed income in the state TANF plan while the program denies the label.

Program payment details given: Rx Kids provides pregnant women $1500 and $500 monthly for six or 12 months after birth with no income test or spending restrictions in communities.
Official classification conflict: The Michigan TANF State Plan effective January 1 defines guaranteed-income payments as regular cash with no conditions and explicitly names RX Kids as an example.
Low spending so far: As of June 2 about $10.8 million of nearly $292 million in public appropriations had been spent with 85% going directly to families.
No spending oversight exists: Founder Dr. Mona Hanna said the program does no monitoring of purchases because it is built on trust in mothers and families to meet needs.

$18.3B welfare loophole still bankrolling parents who shouldn’t qualify

Nearly 30 years after Congress banned illegal aliens from welfare, $18.3 billion in cash assistance has flowed to households with an ineligible parent through the child-only TANF loophole that remains open.

Recent spending scale shown: In fiscal year 2024 those cases accounted for nearly $760 million roughly 9% of all TANF basic-assistance spending with more than 85200 families collecting.
How the loophole works: Eligible child is listed as the beneficiary while the parent receives and controls the payment avoiding work mandates and the 60-month lifetime benefit limit.
California dominates totals now: California accounted for $617 million paid to nearly 60000 households or 81% of the national total for these cases.
Call for state action made: Foundation for Government Accountability urges states to change their own eligibility rules via block grants since Congress left the child-only path open.

For twelve days, the neighborhood surrounding the intersection of Williams Street and Baldwin Street in Madison was ravaged by an “autonomous zone” set up by activists. Over the span of nearly two weeks, the intersection was barricaded by illegally parked cars and homemade “fences” covered in nails and shattered glass, serving as a warning to passersby.

Residents begged Madison authorities to handle the situation, but the city largely ignored the requests. Instead, piles of garbage and dangerous debris piled up in the street, as locals warned one another to wear closed-toed shoes in the area to avoid being wounded. Those close by noted that the “Willy Street” encampment had initially started off as a memorial site, but within the span of two days, became overrun with homeless individuals.

The encampment was set up in response to the death of Corey Ruiz, a 38 year-old homeless man. During an altercation with police, Ruiz resisted arrest and injured an officer with a knife. Police attempted to tase Ruiz, but eventually shot and killed him as the situation escalated. Ruiz had previously been convicted eight times of resisting arrest. Additionally, he had a 20-year long criminal record in which he had been convicted of battery, possession of cocaine, strangulation, and robbery.

In response to his death, protestors immediately took to the streets, taking over press conferences and harassing people in their cars. Leading Democrat gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong, responded by joining in with the activists. Hong, a member of the DSA, grabbed a megaphone and declared “This state sanctioned violence was an execution. We no longer can have a system that protects… lives of unarmed officers over black people.”

Willy Street quickly turned into a memorial, much like those seen at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis during 2020. Protestors from Minneapolis went so far as to bring a statue from Floyd’s memorial to Madison as a “sign of solidarity.” The statue depicts a large metal fist and has a BLM flag protruding from its center. The autonomous zone quickly turned from a protest into an encampment, as people began showing up with mattresses, tents, and trailers. Portapotties were brought in and organizers began asking for donated supplies fit for a grill out. In a post labeled “Urgent need”, one woman asked people to bring burgers, brats, buns, corn, butter, and salt, as well as energy drinks. The same woman also admitted that the encampment had become “a home for so many of our unhoused neighbors.” In response, a “mental health support tent” was constructed. Regardless of the tent’s efficacy, many locals claimed to see homeless people urinating in the streets, taking drugs, and smoking weed. One sign advertised a “free syringe exchange.”

The encampment was able to take over the Willy Street neighborhood for nearly two weeks largely in part by the negligence of the city government. Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway took twelve days to issue tow orders on the cars being used to block the street. Although she encouraged the encampment to disperse, she never gave deadlines and didn’t use local law enforcement to protect vulnerable businesses or residents. Journalists who approached the campsite were frequently assaulted. Left-leaning outlets like WPR who had been supportive of the protests were ordered to leave or else “we will have to find a way to get you going.” Others threatened to kill journalist Nick Sortor if he refused to leave while simultaneously blocking his car.

After 12 days, authorities finally began clearing out the scene. At least 17 people were arrested, with three being injured during the process. Although Rhodes-Conway begged those occupying the intersection to leave, her 12 days of negligence helped create the catastrophe. Francesca Hong said she was “deeply disappointed that the situation ended in police intervention.”

This week, videos circulating out of Spain have shown hordes of mostly male illegal aliens pouring across Spain’s border. An estimated 60,000 migrants have stormed into Ceuta, which has a mere population of just 83,000. At least 36 people may have died in the chaos so far, as aggressive crowds have been seen rushing through the streets. The U.S. State Department issued a statement criticizing Spain for its “deliberate efforts to enable and facilitate mass illegal migration.”

The autonomous city of Ceuta on the North African coast is bordered by Morocco and the Mediterranean Sea. For years, it has been a major hub for illegal immigration. In May 2021, a whopping 8,000 illegals poured across the border in just two days after diplomatic relations between Morocco and Spain reached a boiling point. Although some illegals were captured and returned, local officials claimed they were “not in a position to calculate the number of people who had entered.” Moroccan spiritual leaders criticized Spain for enforcing their border laws, saying it was “inconsistent with the spirit of partnership and good neighbourliness.”

In late June 2026, Spain’s Supreme Court passed a ruling that would allow tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to pour across the border into the Spanish territory of Ceuta. Spain had previously adopted a special legal regime for Ceuta which created a managerial system referred to as rechazo en frontera or “rejection at the border.” This allowed for illegal aliens who were unauthorized to enter the country to be turned away. For years, human rights advocacy groups railed against the regime, arguing that it violated migrants’ rights.

The June ruling finally clarified the murky legal debate. It stated that illegal aliens could only be rejected at the border when trying to unlawfully enter through physical containment barriers on land, like fences. It did not apply to illegal aliens who were unlawfully entering Ceuta through the water. Surveillance systems like drones were deemed detection systems, not physical containment barriers, so they couldn’t be used to prevent border crossings. This allows for thousands of aliens to swim across the border without fear of immediate expulsion.

On July 8, the Spanish Supreme Court made another decision that struck down nine provisions of the nation’s 2024 Aliens Regulation. The Court claimed these provisions violated the Spanish Constitution and EU Law. Among a variety of other issues, the ruling now forces the border patrol to provide “immediate care” for illegal child migrants who had already crossed into Spain. It also nullified automatic refusals for migrants with criminal records, nullified requirements for financial dependence, and nullified online-only applications, claiming that requiring people to have internet access was “indirect discrimination.”

The Court also recognized the legality of kafala for incoming immigrants, a work arrangement used in many Islamic-law countries. According to the Global Slavery Index, kafala is a form of “exploitation and modern slavery.” The system ties workers to their employers, often leading to abuse, theft, and profiteering by wealthy Muslims. In some cases, women have experienced sexual violence, and some were imprisoned by their sponsors after being raped. The Spanish Supreme Court claimed that refusing to recognize kafala violated the 1996 Hague Convention; ultimately, the Court ruled that authorities can no longer reject foreign guardianships like kafala because they were not established under Spanish law. Now, kafala will be treated as a form of foreign guardianship, despite its dangerous effects.

The Court’s rulings have enormously limited the power of Spanish border patrol agents to keep their country safe. The Court’s overreach serves as an example of what could happen across Europe and in America if governments facilitate illegal immigration. In a phone interview, President Donald Trump issued a warning to the American people, stating “That’s going to be us in three years if the wrong side gets in.”

Palantir CEO warns AI companies want to addict you like drugs

Radical DEI initiatives have been hollowing out some of America’s most powerful and influential institutions for years. The American Bar Association has become a victim of diversity, equity, and inclusion standards that have severely impacted their judicial ethics.

The Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Task Force is a new House Oversight group committed to cracking down on DEI, welfare abuse, and free speech issues. In one of their first hearings last week, Chairman Brandon Gill stated that “The ABA—an organization made up of attorneys who should know better—persisted in promoting DEI practices even though race-based admissions, forced speech, and considering race in employment decisions clearly violate the law.”

The American Bar association plays a key role in the U.S. justice system as the only accreditor of American law schools. This means that it has the sole power to influence the entire U.S. legal system, from determining education requirements to evaluating judicial nominees. Their radicalization has severe, dangerous consequences for the integrity of the law.

Between 2017-2018, the ABA began implementing Standard 206, which required law schools to enact concrete plans to “commit to diversity,” and to provide entry “into the profession by members of underrepresented groups, particularly racial and ethnic minorities.” In the 2023 cases Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President & Fellows of Harvard College and Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. University of North Carolina, the Supreme Court ruled that race-based admissions processes were a violation of federal law. In defiance of SCOTUS, the ABA sought to find workarounds. Rep. Gill stated that the ABA believed “illegality is … not a justification for a school’s noncompliance with Standard 206.”

Additionally, the ABA pushed Standard 303(C), which required law schools to teach courses on “bias, cross-cultural competency, and racism.” The purpose of the courses were allegedly to “eliminate racism in the legal profession.” In compliance, the University of Buffalo taught courses that emphasized figures like George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. Students were required to read articles like “Securitizing Gender in the War on Terror and Crime” and watch videos titled “What is systemic racism?” and “How to Be a Good Ally- Identity, Privilege, Resistance.” The course concluded with a “call to action,” that vaguely alludes to racial activism.

Despite federal pressure, the ABA has not backed down on its DEI initiatives. In February 2026, ABA President Michelle Behnke claimed that organization would “not abandon our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.” Their website has a major section devoted to diversity, including an award for “Excellence in Pipeline Diversity.” The Award specifically intends to “increase diversity in the legal profession.”

In a written testimony, Zack Smith, a Senior Legal Fellow at The Heritage Foundation claimed that the ABA is a “partisan program full of radical policies.” Smith pointed out that the ABA has a long history of punishing law schools who refused to comply with a race-based admissions process. The ABA repeatedly threatened to pull accreditation from George Mason University Law School for not implementing racial quotas.

In September 2025, the ABA once again tried to pull accreditation, this time from St. Thomas University for not meeting racial requirements. Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier stated that “The ABA may dislike Christian values, but it can’t withhold accreditation to coerce schools to adopt its repugnant policies.” This further proved that the ABA was more than willing to bully schools who didn’t accept affirmative action measures.

A former student at Penn Law testified that the school operated as a “closed ideological loop; one that mandates conformity to Critical Race Theory (CRT), coerces student speech, and actively censors dissenting viewpoints.” In detailing his experiences, he spoke about how professors prioritized critical race theorists and presented “radical critiques of law enforcement and the American justice system.” In an assignment, he was forced to write an essay on systemic racism, and the grading rubric was influenced by how well students accepted the course’s racial justice framing.

The ABA being politically compromised is alarming and consequential. It is the gatekeeper to those intending to learn and wield American law - a practice that begets sustained societal outcomes that affect our country greatly and often permanently.

However, upon closer inspection, it is clear that Fauci used his position to gain power, fame, and even wealth. Tucked inside the hundreds of pages from his dairy, it becomes strikingly obvious that Fauci used his pandemic fame to manipulate the American people, the government, and President Trump.

In January 2020, as the number of cases of Covid-19 in the U.S. began to rise, Fauci quickly took control of the narrative. As early as Jan. 23, he began making detailed lists of his media appearances.

By January 29, he began mentioning the praise he received from President Trump, mentioning that Trump told him, “Anthony, you are really a famous guy. Mick My good friend… told me that you were the one of the smartest, knowledgeable and outstanding persons he knows.” He also claimed that it was an “amazing” day for himself, despite the rising concerns about American citizens’ exposure to the virus.

The speed at which Fauci jumps between discussing death tolls and his own raising popularity is stunningly dystopian. At the height of lockdowns on March 15, Fauci mentions that there have been 58 deaths in the U.S. thus far, before immediately bragging that he did “all 5 Sunday shows.” On March 19, as cases continued to surge, he complains that the POTUS “had a press conference which did not include me.” On March 21, he writes that there have been a startling 5300 new cases and 73 new deaths, then proceeds to write, “Big front page article about me appeared in the Washington Post. Very flattering. The situation with my national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable. It is not hyperbole to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country and one of the most recognizable person in the world.”

The diary also shows how Fauci’s desire for power expands throughout the course of the pandemic. On May 23, he again complained about the Trump administration’s frustration with him, chalking it up to Fauci “becoming a star that outshine [Trump].” A few paragraphs later, he praises himself for there being “an amazing firestorm about me on tv tonight”, and gushing over Chris Cuomo for telling people “we need Fauci.” On June 5, Fauci links a 3% rise in the stock market with his media appearance on CNBC, implying that he views himself as having direct influence on the American economy.

The rift between Trump and Fauci seems to have occurred on April 23, when President Trump berated Deb Brix in the Oval Office, allegedly telling Birx “You and Fauci have destroyed the country and the economy. I should never have listened to you. You have completely destroyed us.” He also begins to complain about conservative media outlets, lamenting that Laura Ingram called him “‘deep state’ for asking people to wear masks… Media pushing a major breach between me and the White House.”

By the end of June, Fauci’s political affiliations have changed. He praises Joe Biden’s campaign for promising to “reach out to me and ask to continue my leadership role… this will piss off Trump.” Shortly before the 2020 Presidential election, Fauci’s hatred of Trump is fully realized, calling him “out of control” and “a true embarrassment.” In the days after the election, Fauci admitted his joy over Trump’s failure, stating “I could not wait… to work with Biden.” Fauci’s diary shows a direct correlation between his consolidation of power and his hatred of Donald Trump and the “far right.”

Sotheby’s and Christie’s records: Sotheby’s reported its best first half ever with $4.4 billion in sales up 58% while Christie’s had its best since 2021 with $4.5 billion up 71%.
